Here Kitty Kitty Kitty!

The wildlife guy was here last month setting up game/trail cameras looking for predators. He placed 3 cameras at the north end of the ranch where there is a lot of trees along the creek.
He came a few weeks ago to check the cameras. There was a lot of deer, coyotes, turkeys, phesents, quail, huns and a raccoon with a bob tail. But I got REALLY excited when I saw BOBCATS!
I got so excited, I went and bought me a game camera! I set it up along the creek by the house. I wanna check it every 5 minuets! HA! But, I'll wait patiently.

Here's a couple videos of the bobcat.

What a beautiful creature! I can't wait to see what I find on my camera....

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Lovely capture, your video didn't come up.It would be fun to link to your computer and be able to look when you wanted, although you might not get anything done.

  3. Patience: That's an attribute I'm still working on, too - ha! We have the other creatures you mentioned, but we don't have a lot of bobcats in our area.

    They're beautiful creatures.

  5. There are probably many more of these critters out there. We have the lynx here which is a little larger than the bobcat. The lynx are seldom seen. Of all my years hiking through the bush, I've never seen one.

  7. Oh! They are so pretty! Here you can hunt Bobcat and Mountain lions, but not Lynx..they are protected. I would LOVE to see a beautiful cat on my wildlife camera....although, maybe not in the yard.

  8. One place I lived was in a fairly wild area and one evening I saw either a bobcat or a lynx at the end of my driveway. It was dusk so I couldn't tell which it was but I lean towards lynx because it was quite large. A game cam would be fun! Much better that tv. :)
