Miz Personality

She is back in her cave and has 2 babies that I saw. She wasn't nesting in her usual spot last year. So I am glad to see her back. She even got one of her babies up so I could get a picture!

Mr and Mrs bald eagle are back sitting on their nest too! Glad to see them back also.

Sitting in the nest.

We braved these ominous clouds and saddled up and got the heifers and their babies on the meadows to get ready to sort and brand on Thursday. We did luck out and the stormy clouds went around us. Although the wind did blow something fierce!!

Thanks for stopping by.

  4. The owl must find that cave to be a suitable spot. I wonder what she thinks looking at you photographing her.

  5. Too cool! You will find a lot of pellets under the nest she coughs up that are fun to take apart and see what she has eaten. I watched a Great horned nest 2 years ago and felt like part of the family.

  6. It's great to see that your owls and eagles are nesting again this year. Owls start very early.
