Fall is in the air

I'm liking the cool mornings and evenings. Still warm during the day with those white fluffy clouds floating over head.
The Canadian Geese are starting to show up, the bucks are getting some dandy hat racks. And the fruit trees are loaded! And our winter prep work is starting to get into full swing.

Cracks me up to see the geese wandering around amongst the cows!

Little guy.

This is what I'm talking about!

2 year old nectarine tree. So loaded its hanging on the ground! Yummy!

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Put our name on the big guy on the left! A least the grasshoppers didn't like the nectarines. The tree is loaded. Save one for me. LOL M

  2. Mmm nectarines! My peach trees didn't produce this year- well they did to start with then the trees got peach leaf curl and all the little peaches fell off. I didn't spray because we were trying hard to move in the spring. The other day when we had that heavy rain, I found myself looking at the mountain tops next morning, half expecting to see a dusting of snow on the peaks. Fortunately there wasn't! The mornings are definitely getting cooler though.

  4. I don't know why we call them Canada geese. First hint of cool weather, the cowards start bolting as far south as they can get.

  10. I love that second photo, since it made me laugh! We have pear trees and they are loaded, too. It must have been a good year for fruit trees in your neck of the woods and mine, too. Unfortunately, we hit a deer on the way home from church on Sunday. Thankfully, it was minimal damage to the car. Have a good week, Cheri!
