The past 10 days or so we've had some amazing weather. Its rained a little bit everyday! The old range ground has a tint of green. Hopefully the grass keeps growing and we go into winter with green every where. The daytime temps have been between 50 and 55*. Over night right around 40*.
We've been "remodeling" the front of the barn in preparation for a new hydraulic chute! An upgrade!
Here's a few pictures of the sky the past few days. Its been so pink at sunrise and sunset.
A foggy morning and day.
Pink sunset. Looks like northern lights in the south!
A "pasture" we call The High Rocks.
Tonights sky.
Thanks for stopping by.
Neat set of pictures, Cheri! Glad to hear your weather has been nice.
ReplyDeleteYea for your hydraulic chute. I'm sure you more than deserve it and will love it.
Achingly beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like things have slowed down so that you can take photos. Great sunsets. We've also had very pleasant fall weather.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!...can't bet looking at stuff like that! Glad you are getting rain! Sweet on the new hydraulic chute coming!...I'm envious for sure! I don't even have a chute yet, so heck, I'm envious of any chute you have...lol.
ReplyDeleteOh your Herefords enjoy such a different winter than ours maybe we can send them down for a visit much like the Canadian "Snowbirds" that live in Florida or Arizona during our winters.I think they would like that. I would have to of course come with them and see the High Rocks and those beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Beautiful just beautiful. New chute yippee:) Hug B
ReplyDeleteSome really nice shots, hard to pick favorite. I see those pink skies here, but haven't taken a shot. Glad to hear you got the rain a bit. It is trying to turn into snow here.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful skies! Last night, we had a gorgeous sunset, but it didn't translate well to the camera so I will just have to remember it in my minds' eye, I guess. My favorite shot is the first one. We could use a hydraulic chute today. The vet is coming to work calves and do preg checks on some cows.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics. Our evening skies look more like the second to last shot. We have had rain every day too but not today....yet.
ReplyDeleteI think I will make an apple pie today. How are your apples doing???
Wowza! Beautiful photos! We're soggy and socked in for the most part.
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to see what you are up to...gosh, these are wonderful views! Wish I could look out and see those
ReplyDeleteWow, just beautiful.
