Good Fences

Typical ranch fences around here. Some are 4 wire, some are 5 wire depending on if they are interior fences or exterior.

  4. Love that shot - especially since it didn't go THROUGH the fence, requiring some repair!

  5. This is a great shot - and just shows how ineffective fences are if deer are around.

  8. Ha, what a great photo, perfectly timed. Appears the fence is serving no purpose, at least with regard to the deer!

  9. At least deer can jump! Elk on the other hand, generally make their presence known by the twanging of snapped wire in their futile attempts to jump....

  10. It used to be the fence rows here that provided a lot of habitat. Most is down now to make open fields for row crop. I have stretched miles and miles.
